-
My husband pays me child support. Why is your
office going after him?
-
Our office must pursue any absent parent when a
referral is received from the Community Services
Agency for a child this is receiving either
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or
Medi-Cal. It is our responsibility to establish a
child support and/or medical order.
-
I received a Default Judgment and Order or a
Final Judgment to pay child support. This is not
my child and I want blood tests.
-
You must respond to the order of the court. If
you do not agree with the order, you can seek
legal advice or make an appointment with your
case worker. Our office will enforce the order of
the court, unless a judge changes the order.
