transmitted electronically along with the EFT.

electronically from one bank account to another
for child support payments.

Obtaining payment of a child support or medical

Escheatment

Escheatment occurs when funds arrive at the Child
Support office that are intended to be applied to
an non-custodial parent's account, but the funds
cannot be applied because either the office does
not have a valid address to mail the payment or
the office can't identify the non-custodial
parent. After a specific period of time, this
payment is placed in a State fund.

Establishment

Establishment is the process of proving paternity
and/or obtaining a court or administrative order
to put a child support obligation in place.
